Since 2011, over 125 members of Mount Pisgah have attended “The Walk to Emmaus,” a 72-hour spiritual retreat. Upon completing the Walk, several attendees described it as “life-changing,” “an incredible outpouring of Christian love,” and “one of the most meaningful Christian experiences I’ve ever had.” The walks are held every March and September.

  • Men’s Thursday Morning Prayer Group

On Thursday mornings, there is a men’s combined prayer meeting and Bible study meeting in the Parlor adjacent to the Welcome Center. This event starts at 8:30 am with approximately a half hour of time to share prayer concerns and blessings. At approximately 9:05 am, the groups meets for another half hour to discuss a specific Bible passage (usually the sermon basis for the following Sunday). • ThuMBS Up (Thursday Morning Bible Study)

We are a group of women who desire to grow in our faith and deepen our relationship with our Lord. We use studies to have us doing individual Bible study during the week and then we come together on Thursday mornings to share and discuss what God has taught us. Our meetings are 9:30-11:00 am each Thursday morning from September through early May. We pray for one another , enjoy wonderful fellowship, and benefit from the Holy Spirit speaking to us through one another. We also bring donations for the Out of the Garden Project to support our community in combating hunger.
